Sure, this was not easy for many Victorians. The absence of distraction was probably more difficult for younger people. But the lockdown is/was also a good opportunity to do all those things at home, which we kept “for later”. The lockdown also reveals how much some of us depend on movement, company of others and so on. It is an interruption with a purpose and most of us probably agree with the Victorian government’s decisions during what is an extremely difficult time period.
