I return the medal – Now that is a good statement

But Scomo won’t get it, I’m sure. Margaret Court has history of extreme views. I heard on RRR radio today that she praised the South-African apartheid government for “having dealt with the race problem properly”. Surely, this is not something she can now relate to the bible. This is racism which Jesus would condemn if he were alive. Sadly, Margaret Court is an example of pure bigotry – an order of Australia medal would be equivalent to approval of all her views by the Australian government. This, we cannot tolerate. Australia is a country of the “fair go” and we fight racism on all fronts.

Norway: 23 people died shortly after Pfizer-Biontech COVID-19 vaccination

“Doctors in Norway have been told to conduct more thorough evaluations of very frail elderly patients in line to receive the Pfizer BioNTec vaccine against covid-19, following the deaths of 23 patients shortly after receiving the vaccine.” Source: BMJ

Clearly, knowing that the vaccine was released much earlier than usual, we need to be concerned here and find out more. We can’t simply “not be overly concerned” as an Australian government official said this morning of TV. There is indeed a finite chance that the vaccine which is intended to save lives is actually also taking some lives. The absence of serious concern bears resemblance of a Trump-like approach to the matter. This is just not good enough. While Trump is soon off the screen – Trumpism is not – at least in Australia!

Stubborn Australian Liberal Party Trump Supporters

It is quite amazing to see that there are still some stubborn Trump Supporters in the Liberal Party government of Australia. The world has long realised that Trump is bad and needs to be stopped from being able to do more damage to the US and the entire world – but some of our liberal party guys just don’t get it. One may be wondering why they don’t see or don’t want to see what others see. Is it an ideological proximity perhaps ? I certainly hope not.
