How Murdoch does what he should not do – fostering climate skepticism
“Funded by GetUp members, Lies, debates, and silences: How News Corp produces climate scepticism in Australia proves not only that News Corp is negative towards climate action, but they’re actively creating debate and confusion while they politicise the issue.
The exhaustive study analysed 8,612 pieces of news, opinion, editorials and letters mentioning climate change across four News Corp publications – The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, and The Australian – between April 2019 and March 2020, covering the worst bushfire season on record and the massive School Strike 4 Climate protests.”

With heart and hands – Vivaldi’s Four Seasons live – Janine Jansen and Amsterdam Sinfonietta
Played masterly – Vivaldi comes alive again
I listened with shivers down my spine. Janine does not hold back when she plays. Music requires no thought process. It resonates in us and in the musicians. This we can see when Janine plays. If her audience expects body control and emotionless playing – tough luck. Classical music is felt just like most other music. We sometimes dance to music. Then, our body resonates with the music. Sometimes music is euphoric and must be played euphorically. Sometimes music is quiet and the beauty often lies in what you do not hear.
